Navratri Garba is 9 night of traditional garba and raas with the addition of various events for you and the family to get involved in.
Navratri 2018 was celebrated over the last 9 days, despite the hectic lifestyle and the need for children to go to school each day we had a good turnout and the Vanza Mandal Management Committee and Trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for attending and making this function possible. During the week we had some additional events such as the Children’s arti, Fancy dress and the 108 Arti. We would like to also acknowledge all the volunteers and musicians, some of whom were working behind the scenes.
As a direct result of the advice given by the authorities, we will be celebrating Navratri via Zoom.
We will celebrate Navratri every night for the nine nights. We will be singing Garbas and if anyone wishes to sing then please let the Zoom host know using the Chat facility on Zoom. The timing for each night except for Attham is 8pm to 9.00pm. The evening will be finished by singing Mataji’s Arti.
We usually celebrate Athham with 108 Arti’s but as we cannot do this, we will sing garbas from 8pm to 10pm including Aarti. We would like each participant to do Aarti at your home and show it on Zoom so that we can all celebrate Attham together.
